The Prysm Group rebrands to become FORTEM International

The Prysm Group has announced a new brand identity and changed its name to Fortem International

The company says there are two key reasons behind the rebrand; the recent transformation into a global business, and an evolution of the business format.

Fortem International has developed a business structure that allows shareholders to progress through the business and build their own business under their own title with full access to the Fortem platform, expertise, network of global offices and brands.

Over the last 18 months the company has seen growth largely thanks to the launch of the White Label World Expo Series, which Fortem says has been fuelled by the sharp increase in demand for online retail during the Covid-19 lockdowns. The firm recently launched 14 new events across Europe, the USA and Asia, opened offices in Las Vegas, Miami, Austin, Cayman Islands, London and Singapore and acquired events such as Vertical Flight (now known as Heletech and Dronex) from Reed.

Fortem CEO Tom Borthen says that 18 months ago, 80% of the company’s revenue was from the UK and 20% international, which has now changed with 80% of its revenue now being international business.

Borthen says, “Our new brand is a better reflection of who we are now and will move us into the future with a strong sense of identity. We’ve evolved from a predominantly Bristol-based firm and UK events portfolio into a truly international organisation.

“Our portfolio has expanded into some of the most exciting high growth industries for a post-pandemic world, our office locations are in some of the most desirable locations in the world and our leadership team has expanded enormously with the creation of nine talented new shareholding business owners.”
